What instruments do you offer for weddings and events?
Perle Noire Strings offers violin, viola, cello and harp for weddings and events. We also offer electric violin for reception and DJ hybrid events as well as upright bass to create a string quintet or to round out a chamber orchestra.

Perle Noire Strings specializes in elevated live music experiences for luxury weddings, upscale social events, and sophisticated celebrations throughout Florida. Our offerings are intentionally centered around lush ensemble performances and immersive soundscapes designed for refined event environments.
Versailles String Quartet
Our signature luxury string quartet experience, featuring two violins, viola, and cello. The Versailles String Quartet is ideal for grand wedding ceremonies, elegant cocktail hours, ballroom receptions, and black-tie events, offering a rich and timeless sound with refined sophistication.
Le Trio

La Résonance
Our exclusive concert-quality soundscape production experience for professionally amplified acoustic performances. La Résonance includes DPA CORE+ instrument microphones, Bose professional speaker systems, officiant microphones, and seamless amplification for ceremonies, speeches, and large-scale events requiring pristine sound clarity and elegant production.
What makes Perle Noire Strings different?
Perle Noire Strings is owner-led by its founder and cellist Jayne Bouchfaa. Not only does Jayne work directly with her clients, but she attends and plays Perle Noire events, esepcially large ensembles, rather than simply sending contractors. In fact, large ensemble services with professional soundscape production guarantee Jayne’s presence on-site as owner and cellist, creating seamless communication and peace of mind for her clientele.
Perle Noire Strings also offers optional in-house sound equipment of the highest caliber. With top-of-the-line DPA Core+ instrument microphones, Perle Noire provides clean, crisp sound for string ensembles without unsightly microphone stands and additional clutter. Perle Noire Strings also offers microphone and speaker options for officiants and speeches. No need for third-party sound techs or DJ services.
Do you play outdoors or on the beach?
Yes! Perle Noire Strings plays countless weddings and events outdoors. All that we require is a tent, awning, or some type of covering (full shade will do as long as it isn’t raining).
Who are the musicians that will be playing at my event?
Perle Noire String musicians are formally trained string musicians, many of whom have played with famous celebrities including Yo-Yo Ma, Michael Buble, Andrea Bocelli, Dave Matthews Band, several sports teams, the Olympic Games, as well as prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and St. Peter’s Basilica. They are teachers, educators, and many play in Florida’s most prestigious ballets, operas, and orchestras.
What is Your Pricing?
Perle Noire Strings Le Trio pricing begins at $1300. and includes sound equipment. Although all of our ensembles are custom quoted, clients typically spend $2000-$4000 on average with Perle Noire Strings.
Do you take music requests, or do you only play classical music?
Our motto at Perle Noire Strings: if you can sing it, we can play it! We do not just play classical music (although we do get requests for Canon in D almost every weekend!) We play it all, from Bach to Beyonce, Metallica to Nine Inch Nails, Arctic Monkeys to Taylor Swift and back again. If in the rare event we do not have your specific piece on hand, we can create a custom arrangement with our in-house music composer or purchase a copy from a reputable sheet music seller.
